Apple Sold 9 Million iPhone 5S And 5C Units In First 3 Days!

Apple has launched its much awaited iPhones 5S and 5C for sales from 20th September 2013 in selected countries.

Today Apple officially announced the number of units sold on its first week end.Apple has sold a record breaking 9 lakh units of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C from the day of its sales.When iPhone 5 was launched last year Apple has sold 5 million units.Now Apple has nearly doubled the total number of units sold with iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.

But there is no clear information about how many units of iPhone 5C has been sold on first days and instead has given a combined figure.

“This is our best iPhone launch yet–more than nine million new iPhones sold–a new record for first weekend sales,” said Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook. “The demand for the new iPhones has been incredible, and while we’ve sold out of our initial supply of iPhone 5s, stores continue to receive new iPhone shipments regularly. We appreciate everyone’s patience and are working hard to build enough new iPhones for everyone.”

LG Vu 3 Smartphones Announced

LG has announced its new smartphone, LG Vu 3 which is the third smartphone in this series. LG Vu 3 will be released initially in Korea from September 27th on SK Telecom, KT and LG U+ telecom operators. The  availability of LG Vu 3 in other markets is still unknown. LG Vu 3 pricing in india is also not yet available.

LG Vu 3 sports with a 5.2 inch IPS HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels.The smartphone is chipped with a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which consists of 2GB RAM, 480MHz Adreno 330 GPU. It runs on 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The dual camera comes with 13MP Rear and 2.1MP Front for Video calling.The dimensions of LG Vu 3 are  132.1×85.6×9.4mm and it weighs 161 grams.LG Vu 3 comes with  16GB of internal memory with can an expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card slot.

The hand set is available in 3 colours Indigo Black, Mint and White.The connectivity features of LG Vu 3  are 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, microUSB,Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, A-GPS.The battery capacity is loaded with 2610mAh battery.

Raj Kapoor's Awara May Soon Return With Colours

Raj Kapoor's Awara, the 1951's classical film may soon be re-released in a coloured version.Awara celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2011,as one of the most successful films of all time.Nargis is the female lead opposite Raj Kappor in Awara.

A source revealed that, "The family wants to get the colouring procedure done at a top studio abroad. It's a classic and they want the best. And if all goes well this film will be the first release of RK Films in the past twenty two years.
